ANDROLOGICAL SURGERY
Vasectomy
Vasectomy
Vasectomy is the only feasible and safe route to male contraception.
Vasectomy is a small, safe and little traumatic operation that takes place in an outpatient setting and under local anesthesia.
The aim of the surgery is to sever the connection between the testicles and the prostate (the vas deferens) so that there are no more sperms in the semen.
The surgery does not change sexual desire and the ability to ejaculate in any way, there will simply be no more sperm inside the ejaculate.
Following the procedure, it is necessary to wait a month before having unprotected sex and in any case carry out a control spermiogram, to make sure that the procedure has been effective from a contraceptive point of view.
