It is defined as a continuous or occasional loss of urine associated with episodes of urgency or during efforts, therefore it is distinguished in urinary incontinence from “urgency” and “effort”, which in some cases can be mixed. Urinary incontinence often seriously compromises the quality of patients in various areas: social, psychological, professional, domestic, physical, sexual, but can be treated effectively thanks to surgery, which involves the use of different devices or prostheses based on to the patient’s sex.
